The Yurt is the traditional dwelling of the nomadic populations of Mongolia, considered its homeland, but it is used in different variations over a much larger territory that goes from the Republic of Tuva to Uzbekistan, from Tajikistan to the Turkestan region.

This nomadic dwelling is made of natural materials - simple yet functional, sturdy yet lightweight, aesthetically pleasing and welcoming.

Wooden slats are used, woven together to form a lattice that creates the circular perimeter of the tent. Two central beams support an overhead ring from which long, flexible poles radiate outward like the spokes of a large umbrella.

The entire structure rests on this lightweight yet flexible framework, whose diameter can range from four to ten meters.
