Farmhouse
“Alpaca Country House” is a fully renovated farmhouse from 1200, owned by the Magnani family, inserted in the medieval village of Montecastello (PI). The farmhouse is located in the picturesque hills of the province of Pisa, in the surrounding of Palaia, and surrounded by a rich vegetation and unspoiled history.
The country house is placed within the “Parco Alta Valdera” and it includes a green area of 5 hectares of land with olive trees, used mostly for breeding alpacas: cute and fine wooly animals. Together with Alpaca live a Falabella miniature horse called Imperatore, a Tibetan goat named Elvira, a donkey named Giulio, seven Tibetan goats, a golden retriever and four cats: you can get to know all of our animals thanks to guided tours!
